When I was around 7 or 8, my parents played a few movies in constant rotation on their VCR: Blues Brothers, The Exorcist, The Shining and Caddyshack.  They let me watch them all.  I had nightmares for years and years about The Exorcist.

Dan Schneider thinks he's funny, which is how he got on Schneider's show All That.  Schneider was also a producer on Kenan and Kel, which is how he got that.  (And Schneider also created iCarly and Victorious, which is how Thompson got on the crossover episode a few months ago.) I know I'm in the minority, but I've always thought Star Wars is the best movie in the series and Empire is overrated. Star Wars does have awful acting and dialogue, but so does every other movie in the series.  I thought most of the first one was pretty exciting, whereas long stretches of Empire drag, like the Yoda…

This is awful and all, but it wouldn't be quite so terrible if the CGI in Star Wars films didn't look like crap.  Look at the ewok blinking his eyes.  Furry suit, furry suit, now here's a pair of cartoony eyelids pasted on.

Oops, I forgot: the AI is still not the best, but maybe that's just the Deus Ex tradition.   I've gotten away from guys running after me by going up a flight of stairs, which is evidently listed as a no-no in the bad guys handbook.  They literally stopped chasing me as soon as they reached the first step.

Loved her in House of Yes, and loved that movie. Was also hoping to see her talk about it. Oh well.

I love the original, although admittedly, not for the reasons intended. The cheese factor is pretty awesome and the general 80s vibe is kind of cool. I thought it was a fun little movie that didn't really try to do too much.

I think cutting the sequence from the script entirely would have been better.

I thought the long shot toward the end of COM was totally unnecessary and just slowed shit down. The baby gets taken, the camera follows the action around for like ten damn minutes, then they get the baby back and the story continues on, not having advanced the plot at all.
