I think they should go with Ellen Page.
I think they should go with Ellen Page.
I know I'm not saying anything new, but I saw the Jabba scene in ANH the other day for the first time in a long time and holy crap it really is just as terrible as I remember it. Nonsensical and ridiculous looking.
Are you serious? I turned this on a couple of minutes late because I had forgotten it was on and I missed lizard face?
The hallway Chad was in to get to the skinning people wing looked like it was stolen from the set of Tron.
Meh
I kind of hate that Lee is looking like the winner because I didn't like either of his songs tonight, although the latter probably moreso because I can't stand the original. Crystal isn't always the best but I do like her voice and thought her second song was decent. I'm not sure why Casey is still on this show.
No one can deny this is going to suck…
…sessfully revive this series!
It's a great movie and it makes me kind of sad that they're going to eff it up with a) CGI and b) someone else playing Evil Ed. Evil Ed was half the appeal of the original thanks to a goofball performance by Stephen Geoffreys.
Yeah, I agree with this. When Betty White can't save your awful writing, you have problems.
The only questions I had after watching Cube were: how did this get made? Could it have been any worse?
Ugh
I knew the Neuromancer movie was gonna end up being crap, but getting the guy who made Cube (one of the worst movies I've ever seen) to take it over is uh, well, maybe strangely appropriate. At least it dashes any hope before I end up seeing it on TBS at 1:30 on a Wednesday morning.
Hugo Largo
Yeah, I have to dig back a few decades for a band not many have heard of, but whose music seems to be my default when I'm not in the mood for something. Hugo Largo was really great.
I'd heard a lot about Casablanca…
…but had never seen it until a few years ago. Even expecting a legendary movie, it blew me away.
I'm a pretty big Devo fan…
…and I was frightened by talk of a new album, but the songs that I've heard have all been surprisingly good. Not as good as classic Devo, IMO, but as good as anything on Smooth Noodle Maps, certainly.
I did like the TV guy thing this week and the ending with the blonde lizard was kind of interesting. I also like that the FBI lady suspects the wrong person as being in league with the visitors.
Still not good…
…but I actually thought this was better than most of the episodes of this lame show. I am wondering, though, why Anna chose to blow up human remains instead of actual humans. What would she care? Wouldn't it be easier to just wipe out a squad of people and not have to cover anything up? It's not…
Pretty much my feelings also. I hope he provides me with many more years of music to hate.
Yeah, he must mean Apone. And IMDB has this interesting note about the guy who plays him: Al Matthews, who plays a Marine sergeant in this film, was in real life the first black Marine to be promoted to the rank of sergeant in the field during service in Vietnam.
I loved them both. As long as nobody is voting for the third or fourth, I think it's okay.
Yeah, I skipped this to have the NFL Draft on in the background, of all things. I caught the replay and wished I hadn't. It was all roughly the same shade of boring.
oh boy
It might help if the website could figure out when he actually became a Christian. Some places it says 2002, some it says 2003. Get your act together. For Godliness.
