Okay, I grant you that the gravity gun-pig thing was sweet. But I wasn't that excited about the rest. If they had blown up a whole shitload more people to epic levels of liquid gore, I could get behind that. Sadly, I really did think catching the RPG was more laughable than awesome.

It felt to me like the great story leading up to the action was done a disservice by the action that followed, that it was essentially forgotten or just an excuse to have people shooting at each other. It certainly didn't feel like it had the same weight once the guns came out, and I guess that's my biggest problem

Disappointing
I really enjoyed the beginning and it gave me high hopes for it, but it unfortunately turned into an action movie that was pretty boring and a little silly. I can't help but think that there would be a great story somewhere in that shantytown that didn't require 20 minutes of people shooting guns at

you can't do that on television
I loved that show while growing up. I don't remember knowing too many people who watched it back in the day, but it seems like anyone my (ancient) age these days were fans of it.

crazy
I grew up with their music in Chicago and flew back home to see them in 2006; it was a great show. I'm a little weary of new output because I didn't care much for their last album, but I guess things could change in, uh, 19 years.

I don't hate his writing, I just think it's mediocre. I also don't think the Cory Doctorow hype machine needs any more help and I can't imagine anything he's written being described as a "classic."

Please no Cory Doctorow books.

The other thing about the Paul character is that I wouldn't really mind if he succeeds in his bring down the Dollhouse campaign, as then the show might take a more interesting turn. This removes all tension from his plotline.

Almost
As someone who hasn't really liked the series so far, I thought this was the best episode and I really enjoyed it—until the end, when they put all the dolls back into their beds and said "lol, this was a fun waste of time." I mean, what the hell was the point of this if it turns out in the end that nothing has

The shirt removal indicates that the observe and report portion of Gordon's week is over, and the time to kick ass has just begun. It's like Superman heading into the phone booth.

Honestly, the only thing I thought of during those few minutes was that it looked startlingly like a parody of a bad television show. All the lights were bright and constantly flashing, everyone on stage was screaming and laughing at their own cleverness and the audience was there to cheer whenever someone swore.

Osbournes
I watched the first few minutes of the Osbournes out of a car crash-style curiosity. The opening sequence alone made me lose all respect for television everywhere. I expected it to be horrific, but it still managed to surprise me with how bad it was.

Dragon's Den
Dragon's Den on BBC America is good but not great. I think any new version of it will depend largely on the personalities of the investors, as that was what I hooked into for the British version.

Not going to happen, apparently
I'm ready to give up on this show every week because I'm not feeling it like everyone else is (the "fun/humorous" bits in tonight's episode just had me rolling my eyes and I pretty much hate all of the characters) but it seems like the teaser for the next week's episode is always summed

I guess I'm in the minority
But I didn't like this episode, either. The conversation with Patton was great and and the best part of the show, but everything else that happened in this ep was pretty underwhelming. I didn't think any of the twists were particularly interesting because I'm just not that emotionally

disappointing
The first half of the episode (for some reason) convinced me that the second half was going to be interesting and cool, but instead it turned out to be classic bad television. The only reason I'm still watching is the promise that something cool happens a few episodes from now.
