Poor Tiffany. All I know about her is that she seems to be trying to stay away from the shitshow as much as possible, and we still tease her. I'm loathe to say that I have any sympathy for a Trump, but if I did, she would be the one.

I think the characters have been better served by the show thus far than the magic stuff. Hopefully that changes, because I would like to see one of these Marvel Netflix shows go completely bonkers. Iron Fist is probably our best chance for that.

See, I actually thought this episode was pretty boring. Poorly lit, interminable fight sequences turned on a lot of critics for Daredevil, but they don't do a lot for me. I actually find myself agreeing with Caroline that they need to stop being cute about Danny's origin story and just get to it already.

It's retractable. And sentient. I take it you didn't see that episode of the cartoon.

It's not like I'm a huge fan of the source material, but GO did a good job of infantilizing the Teen Titans in general, as did the animated series before it.

Oh, I'm so sorry. It never gets any easier, but at least you can take their pain away. And I'm a firm believer that, whatever is on the other side, it's better than this.

Thank you. He got very sick, very quickly, which made it something else completely out of my control this week (with the small and awful exception of deciding whether to let him continue to suffer or help him to die, which doesn't get easier no matter ow many dogs you've had in your life).

I'm amazingly lucky to have her working with me.

You know, I had a shitty week this week. One of my dogs passed away and a project I had been doing at work for years suffered a major setback due to circumstances completely beyond my control. I spent a LOT of this week crying, in other words.

Not with that attitude, it's not.

Eh, Kristin Bell is killing it over on The Good Place. I she she figured this is free money and there's not much chance the audience of one will see her in the other.

If you haven't seen it, it's worth watching. I am by now means a fan of the Disney musical — Lion King even left me cold. Mulan is very well done on almost all fronts. (I could have done without the cute cartoon sidekicks, but nobody's perfect.)

I mean that they used them to mark the big act changes and character moments in the story in a way that dialogue itself wouldn't quite achieve.
