I agree about Bill Maher, but with Milo it's the constant, grating self-promotion that gets to me. As well as the whiff of identity politics that comes with the eye-rolling, "But I'm a GAY conservative!" I really don't like identity politics on the left either, but it's a little easier to swallow when it's not so

Have you read Milo's stuff? Even Ghandi would be sorely tempted to choke the life out of him.

I would like it if that were true, but I have a hard time believing that anybody would pretend to be a minority that is irrationally discriminated against in most of the country. Then again, it wouldn't be the first time, I suppose.

That actually was a pretty good job, Internet.

I hate that Republicans look at him and think that because they like him, they must be cool with gay people. It's so embarrassing to have him as one of our own. If it was gay Republicans the world wanted, Andrew Sullivan is just sitting right there. (Though he looks and sounds less and less like a Republican as the

Well, good for her. Though I did raise my eyebrow at "daytime news discussion program." Damn it, NBC, you wouldn't do this is you hired away someone like Chris Wallace. Why do you insist on this kind of role for women, no matter how ill the fit?

I'm gay, and to be perfectly honest I thought Wendy Williams was dead.

You should apologize to Vanessa Williams.

We kind of are. But I can't help but love Billy Eichner, bless his little shrieking heart.

Is "half gay" where your mom is gay and you sometimes celebrate gay holidays?

That seems a fair assessment. I remember the trial itself being a clusterfuck now that you mention it. The prosecution moved to exclude it own expert witness, which was the only witness it has even linking Castle to the crime, and then somehow he got convicted anyway. Oh, oh! And Foggy and Karen "worked all night" to

Yes, but we're all trying to move on.

Sure, but certain comics have survived for 50+ years for a reason. Coming in and changing everything around because you think you know better is not only arrogant; it flies in the face of the evidence.

(1) It's been nearly a decade since this happened, right? So why do we care?

There's a very nice canyon in southern Utah called Kolob.

Eh, I wouldn't say "just like other people." I would say they have their own brand of normal that is very easy to sniff out once you become accustomed to it. (It's a bit like gaydar, but my preferred term of "Mor-dar" hasn't caught on for some reason.) Whether it's your cup of tea would be up to you.

As a rule, they really don't. The sex stuff and profanity really bothers them.

Yes. A lot of Mormons hate Trump because they think he's sexually immoral. And I have to at least give them credit for being consistent on this point, unlike a lot of other sects of Christianity.

Caffeine used to be an issue, but it's getting complicated. Iced tea is definitely a "no" for every practicing Mormon I've met; if you drink caffeine you are considered a "jack" Mormon who has wandered from the flock, either a bit or significantly.

If they were Coca-Cola products, there's your answer. The Church makes an exception for those because it owns stock. I sound like I am being facetious, but I assure you I'm not.
