It's hard to say now. This show obviously owes a lot to Lost which did not begin to really differentiate its many, many characters until 5 or 6 episodes in. I suspect that will happen here. It was in the second episode I believe, and it's pretty hard to miss. It was a shocking, hilarious heel turn for the character.

I'm thinking not hell, but a very specific slice of the afterlife that isn't necessarily heaven (like Cleveland!) and it turns out that the only choices aren't good place/bad place. At least that's what I would do if I were writing this.

I laughed so hard I cried when he kicked the dog into the sun. Then it just got funnier when he tried to backpedal on the whole "dog is a construct thing" and offered to kick the dog into the sun again and make a better one. This show is incredible.

Don't. I watched the whole thing out of a misguided sense of obligation and the belief that it couldn't possibly get any worse. Yet get worse it did, right down to the final second.
