This reboot is filled with nothing but MacGuffins!

Good God, I totally missed the pun. What is happening to me?

But how did we GET to lead-up to the Romulan War? The potential for new series is endless! Endless, I tell you!!!!

Sean Bean is probably sad that the Internet uses his name that way.

But what happened between Enterprise and this show? And between Enterprise and First Contact? That's two more show ideas right there! Get on it, CBS!

I'm not worried because of this news. I'm worried by the fact that we have yet another prequel on our hands, and that no matter how good the writing is, the series is just going to disappear up its own ass.

Ugh. Don't remind me. The fact that this is yet another prequel just depresses me.

I saw the first one in the theater. About 15 minutes into the final fight scene, I actually yelled, "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?"

But wait! Who will bring us the prequel to this prequel, bridging the gap between First Contact and this show? I need to know, Star Trek!

I love that one. XKCD is national treasure.

If you've seen his Parenthood special from the early 80s, it's hard to argue with the fact that Cosby was an extremely effective stand-up (er, sit-down) comic. Now it's all tainted with our knowledge of reality, of course.

It is a real shame that someone with so much talent turned out to be such a rapey asshole.

The ads are getting super obnoxious.

Part of the problem here is that the supposed "real news" is just as often nonsense. See (or better, don't see): Fox News, the Today Show, most medical and scientific reporting, etc.

Please tell me you're joking. It was an okay movie, but it had barely enough material to fill 80 minutes.

What Miller said. The idea that the form and object of worship is less important than the manner and observation of worship qualifies as a radical one in Christian literature, though it's one Lewis had already espoused in less popular books. (I think in it was in Mere Christianity that he said a "self-righteous prig"

A little bit, yeah. It was not boring like the first two movies, and least tried to do some new things, some of which worked and some of which didn't. I liked Eustace too. I kind of wish they could use the same actor when they do Silver Chair (as the age difference would be plausible), but they probably won't.

I watched Creep last week and he was . . . creepy.

If it bothers you so much, then tell your mom to stay away.

As I recall, they kind of had that scene with the Horsemen in this movie already, didn't they?
