YES PLEASE. Literally any other director would fine, at this point. That's why I'm hopeful about New Mutants, though realistically I am probably going to be disappointed again.

I liked the original Claremont run too much to enjoy any of these movies. I just can't get past all the continuity hiccups. FWIW, I thought this was more entertaining than X1 and less dreary than X2. In terms of skull-fucking continuity and characters that took years to carefully craft, it was less egregious that X3,…
They really weren't going to anyway, unless The Last Battle got made. And that has nearly a zero percent chance of happening based on the fact that it is one of the weirdest children's novels of all time. It has even less of a chance if the rabid Christian moviegoers get wind of the religious pluralism on display in…
I love the Narnia books. The movies were a bit of mess. LWW hewed so closely to the book that I found it boring. Prince Caspian was the weakest of the original stories, so it didn't surprise me that I disliked the movie on that basis, but it didn't help that PC was cheaply made and deathly boring. Dawn Treader righted…
Daredevil was okay, though it fell apart a bit is S2. I really liked Jessica Jones; it's one of the reasons I have high hopes for Luke Cage.
I don't know about this adaptation, but I loved Oculus.
I saw a trailer for Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children this weekend, and, honestly, that looked like a better X-Men movie than any of the actual X-Men movies that have been made.
I liked April on Parks & Rec. Pairing her up with Andy was the smartest thing the writers ever did because it helped Plaza add some nuance and complexity to her character just in her reactions to Andy. It wasn't a performance to everyone but I really dug it.
Ugh, I hated that music from the cartoon. But let's be real: it's not something you forget.
Yeah, I think they mean original music, but your point is a pretty good one. GotG would not have been what it was without the music.
"titanic piece of burrito diarrhea" is an amazing collection of words.
Probably not.
tl;dr
My 5 year old liked this last night; I hated it. Suspension of disbelief is not usually a problem for me but when literally the most plausible thing about in a story like this is the existence of a dragon, you have a problem.
You mean them old-timey rotary dialers in the mansion up on the hill? Yeah, no thanks, Grandma.
Rich people (as well as kind-of rich people) in the States are now building houses where every bathroom has an en suite because . . . I guess they like making other people clean toilets?
Meh, maybe a couple coats of paint. Red is notoriously difficult to paint over. Best get some primer for that.
Yeah . . . COCK-Asian.
Oh, this doesn't sound like a great idea. I could get on board, though, if they gave us Jamie Chung as the lesbian Mulan from Once Upon a Time. She was one of the better parts of that show.
*sigh* I don't even know anymore.
