Femlesigrants.
Femlesigrants.
It doesn't HAVE to be, but women have been excluded from the director's chair thus far with Marvel films. This seems like the best opportunity to fix that. And it would be incredibly tone-deaf of Marvel not to acknowledge that fact.
Yeah, this show became impressive once it started drilling down into its characters, who for the most part are terribly flawed people. Very sneaky and very unique.
I respectfully disagree. I loved it. Granted, I don't have a slavish devotion to the original, but it was really funny and it had ghosts. I didn't expect much beyond that.
It is still the federal government, so I'm sure this will move at a snail's pace, but I'm glad law enforcement is visible here. This is so far beyond the realm of human decency that whoever did this at least needs to be exposed.
Yeah, Twitter is kind of the worst.
He was in Southland Tales. That was a terrible movie, but not because of Johnson.
Why is AV Club so obsessed with this guy lately? Is he an investor or something?
I want so badly to like Pulse. I have grown fonder of it over the years, but it still rubs me the wrong way with its idiot characters and lazy writing.
See, I thought Daveigh Chase was terrifying as Samara. My issues with the Japanese original was mainly the Japanese Shelley Duvall they got to play the lead. Not since Duvall have I wanted so badly for a horror movie protagonist to meet an ugly end.

Well, it's fried chicken, so . . .
Counterpoint: you are wrong and should feel bad for being wrong.
See, I tend to cut Cheerleader a bit of slack. The one I can't stand is Latter Days. It's so well-intentioned but just . . . not good. I think the difference for me is probably just in the performances. I couldn't tell you who either of the Latter Days guys were, but Natasha Lyonne and Clea DuVall are both…
Now you're just TRYING to stir the pot.
The cock was the part I liked, but okay.
And if people don't like her, they can just not watch her stuff, or if asked say, "I don't think she's funny." But of course the Internet doesn't work this way.
That's some hardcore Gus Fring shit, but I understand the sentiment. These people are basically worthless.
I really, really do not understand the anger over Ghostbusters. It just seems so silly to me. You would think that Leslie Jones had personally destroyed every copy of the original and forced people to watch the new one (which I really enjoyed, FWIW). But of course, the Internet hasn't yet caught on to the fact that…
