There have been good movies with worse trailers. But there have also been bad movies with better trailers. I don't know where this one ends up.

The trailer has a reaction shot from a monkey. No good movie has ever featured a reaction shot from a monkey. QED

Hooray! Stop Podcasting Yourself is making it into regular rotation (even if it is on the "rest")

Really thrilled to see Stop Podcasting Yourself on here. Always entertaining and reliably hilarious. A huge back-catalog to go through, but there are (3!) Paul F. Tompkins episodes to ease you into the experience. It's one of the podcasts that jumps to the top of my queue when a new ep comes out.

This episode really impressed me, and I imagine it will only get better with repeated viewings. I gave it an A-, but Todd's amazing review deserves an A+.

I work as an associate producer for an hour-long daily news show on Canada's BBC equivalent, so this show - and this episode in particular - was a summer favourite of mine. To see a show capture the thrill and suspense of producing live TV is really impressive.

The next time you watch this show, imagine Zooey Deschanel's character is slightly tipsy. Her character will make much more sense.

The game has built so much on the model established by the first one. Almost every single aspect has been improved upon. New gametypes, much more variety in the scenarios. Graphics especially - and that's not something that can really be fixed by a bunch of DLC packs.

D+? Unlikely.
It's a shame this reviewer didn't enjoy the game. I've put almost 30 hours into this game, and find it consistently fun. If you're not playing with people from your friends list, and not playing with voice chat (available with xbox live parties, friend), you'll probably not like the online. But that's

A-
When I first read the episode synopsis, I was worried. An episode full of Canadian jokes? As a Canadian, they're always hit or miss for me. A lot of the time, they hit the nail right on the head - and it's hilarious. Sometimes they go too broad, and fall into lazy stereotype territory. With every Canadian-centric

I may not watch this show…
… but I love reading these recaps. Thanks for sticking with this show much longer than you should, if only for our amusement.

Why can't they just be using xbox controllers? People play videogames using controllers, not ridiculous virtual reality gizmos that don't even exist.

16 in Canada, and (as of now) 15 in France. But it's 13 in Spain. That's pretty gross, Spain.

As a Canadian…
All I care about is that Linda Cardellini is smoking hot in this video. People should cast her more often.

Finally a good fit for the comedy block
It definitely looks like NBC has a solid comedy block finally! Parks and Recreation had a great episode tonight, and Community started well - the cast is fantastic even if the characters are a little one-note for now.

But goddamn if I don't love rooting for the bad guy.

Party Down is hilarious
This is a fantastic series. Thanks for finally covering it!

Damn.
I guess that means no sequel.

Stay on DirecTV, FNL
Season 3 has so far been fantastic. Much better than season 2, which although good just wasn't as grounded as this season has been.
