I went into Best Buy like a year ago to buy a CD rack. You would have thought I was asking where they keep the live poultry by the faces they made at me.

I caught the Hives on one of their first US tours opening up for International Noise Conspiracy. There might have been 500 people total in the venue. They kept the gimmick that they were playing in an arena the whole time. They kept saying things like "We want to thank the people in the back even though we can't

The Man or Astroman? family of bands provided some of my favorite concerts ever. Servotron was hysterical. And the Causey Way remains as the most insane live act I have ever seen.

I always thought the traditional ska stuff on the album was great. Tim Armstrong has a great ear for ska. That guy has turned me onto so many great bands over the year.

Yep. Pop punk died in 1997, the same year Blink 182 sold a million records for the first time.

I like the throwaway mention of the Give Em the Boot comps by Hellcat. Those comps literally launched the career of the Dropkick Murphy's. I am not crazy about Dropkick, but those guys have sold millions of records. And I am prettt sure "Shipping Up to Boston" first appeared on one of them comps.

There were two types of people there:
1. Way too drunk
2. Waiting in massive beer line.

Epsecially when all of his hair turns with it

His son lives in Wildwood, NJ. Bruce is often spotted there.

At the Borgatta?

I do.

The first Punk-O-Rama had Gas Huffer on it. They were a pretty interesting surf rock band from Washington state. After hearing them on the comp, I went to see them opening for some band called the New Bomb Turks. I was totally blown away by the Turks. I was talking to a cd store clerk about the Turks and he told

Can I just safely assume you are a desperate Dolphins fan?

I couldn't stop snickering when I first saw Seven. Pitt reminded me of Jerry Lewis in that scene. I am always relieved when I find other people who laughed at it.

Amy Sedaris ruined that movie for me. She does a hysterical impression of it..

Ohh gosh no.

Canadian Content laws on the radio can be ridiculous. But our neighbors to the north definitely got the better deal of 3 hours of Rush on the radio everyday.

That is part of the reason I enjoy talk radio in general. The stupidity of the callers combined with the contempt of the host.

The production value on his show is slick as can be. His show was on the same station as the baseball games. So sometimes I would hear it for a second the day after a game. He knows what he is doing. He knows how to exploit fear.

Jay Cutler just got $10 million to come out of retirement while Kaepernick can't even get a phone call.
