I'm still not sure why Frank Darabount is not always at the top of any prospective list. The guy already has a huge Lucas connection and you dont hear his name already connected to big projects like Abram, Jackson, Bird, Wright, etc.

Michonne in the comics is a one-dimensional character, a grim, ass kicker of few words. To be kind, at least she leans towards a smart, primal survivor, side-stepping danger or hacking her way through it. I thought that wouldn't work on tv because it would be too cliched.

My friends and I used to hold marathons of this stuff in glorious video age. The scene in Miami Connection with the disgruntled band leader freaking out on the club owner is one of the pinnacles of gloriously transcendent bad overacting. I remember we had to stop the movie cold and repeat the scene three or four

I've pretty much relegated podcasts to being free entertainment. Appreciate them, but if it came down to a subscription fee, I probably wouldn't feel a great void. To that end, I also never complain about podcasters (or webstites, streaming radio, etc) doing tons of annoying ads. That just seems silly.

Season 1 is okay, but a bad place to start because the show was
finding its footing; jokes are there but they hadn't cemented the
extremes of the character quirks yet. Season 2 is where it really
begins. I'd say that seasons 2-6 are the golden age, crazy consistent in terms of quality. Season 7 had a couple of solid
