Part Two is just routine slasher stuff, but Part Three is fucking amazing.

Hey Amy, if there is one thing America loved in the 40's, it was a mouthy woman who liked to boss men around. Have fun.

Pre-Smith (who I really, really like) I had it in my head that I wanted an older, middle aged, character actor who could be funny but was mostly known for some edge. Came up with a few but my winning candidate was Robert Carlyle. He fit the profile perfectly and because of Stargate Universe was obviously interested in…

William Russel is all kinds of great in this episode. Shows how Ian was a well-rounded character. Yeah, he was the guy that got socked around, was the "muscle," but he did the heavy lifting because he could, and it wasnt the defining part of his character. Mostly he was just a average guy, clearly a working class…

I liked them well enough. Probably the best companions so far. My real problem with Amy and Rory was that I think Moffat blew big ideas with the Ponds well in advance of their exit. As a result their end, this half season, has felt like a show at a standstill, waiting for the inevitable THEY GOTTA' GO SOMEHOW exit…

Its a weird episode for me. It was almost too crammed with ideas, some fun, some muddled, and overall was a bit rushed. What else can one expect when you are trying to pull off a period noir, horror, convoluted sci fi, character farewell episode?

I hope she is different in terms of personality and in not being the same girl from Asylum.

I think his reaction makes sense in how this Doc is a bit lighter, kidlike, after two Doc's (possibly three since there is one we know dick all about) who carried a lot of emotional weight on their shoulders.
He had resigned himself to ditching them before things went bad and then in the last ep was talked back into…

Apparently Jim Jarmusch got a hold of my uncompleted, 4-Track tapes from 1998 and said, "Hey, thats a finished song. Lets put out an album."

That Kids In The Hall sketch mined more laughs in a minute than this South Park did in twenty-two.
