Everything alright, Scrat?

I know this is just me, but I think I would have liked it as much as Super Metroid IF they'd made it look like a Super Nintendo game, and not an NES game. Just from an aesthetic standpoint, it would have made me like to play it more.

Yeah, that bugged the shit out of me.

It felt very much like Shadow Complex to me, which itself was a 2.5D Metroid-like game.

Other M had annoyingly long, unskippable cutscenes, and the story was nonsense…but I thought the gameplay was actually pretty damn good.

It's good. And since there haven't really been any good Metroid games to come out in a long time, I'd have to agree. Still, it doesn't come close to Super Metroid or Metroid Fusion/Zero Mission.
