That kind of sounds like having a double feature of "Night of the Hunter" and "Night of the Living Dead"
I agreee the trailer was very promising. But when the people say 'A Future Cult Classic' in the trailer, that's usualy not a good sign
Oh, and
"A man with dreadlocks electrecuted my fish!"
Ok, good point. I fear I spoke to soon. It's less creepy than…diffrent enough so that it makes me think, and when I think, I over analyze…of that makes any sense…
Yeah the whole everythings closing down thing is pretty depressing, but this has also happened on every sit-com ever. I suppose it depends on how the handle…
My favorite tracy
'I saw a baby give another baby a tatoo! They were both pretty drunk"
"We had a rib cage as a basket ball hoop! A rib Cage!"
Also, I'll se you at the annex Nathan, I'll be teaching Self Defense via Funk Dancing.
Agreed! I think two's my limit though, the show's not un-prown to over doing its self. Thanks for agreeing Justin Timberlake (in his most bestest role)
NBC Thurs line ups tone
Who else has noticed how dark the episodes have gotten. Wiht community, well…no that's always pretty chipper. But with Parks and Rec we have the almost creepy but not quite relationship between April and Andy, and a consant cache of awful boyfriends.
With the office we have the fact that…
Oooooh, one of those russian dolls full of Angels
Say wait…
Speaking of Homage are 51 one movies, whatever happened to the new Simon Pegg/Nick frost movie about Area 51?
Your probably right…
how about the sontarens! They kind of picked them up and through 'em away. I like their new version of our favorite potato heads…unlike they Cybermen…who are probably a key part of it as well
The Rip
Here we go. Is this to be the Bad Wolf of series 5?
I dearly hope so, I quite enjoy that whole kind of thing. But does anyone have any theories on what it is? A rip into "The Void" perhaps? Another universe maybe, perhaps we're actually not currently in our own universe…
I'm with you Keith
I quite love Matt Smith, and I may like Karen Gillian even more. I feel like if I stop comparing the I will grow to become quite fond of there duo. I am waiting for 'ol Matt to develop his own quirks though, he seems to be channeling tennie (heh, I get it #10, tennant) which may be the reason I…
Thanks.
I've seen this Code Unkown (and very much enjoyed it) and the re do of Funny Games. Depressigly I think I enjoyed Funny Games the most, but that was mostly because of the acting, and I'm a sucker for stephen kingy sadsim.
But I very much want to see both the ones you mentioned.
What I like about Haneke is he's…
I dunno, I really liked it.
I also think unpleasntness isn't that bad (the squid and the whale is probably the best example)
But you make a good point. This was my first Haneke flick, and I vastly enjoyed it but I can see why people might dislike it. Nice review by the by.
The first 30 seconds…
looked like Mysterious Skin…
Loved this
I saw this at the EU festival at Gene Sisckel and thought it was one of the highlight of the festival. It sort of like is Haneke made a horror flick.
I don't know…
I enjoyed though
I agree with much of the stuff above.
First off, movie reveiwing may not be personal in the sense that we desrie revenge, but in the fact that nobody agrees with evrything you say. Take Keith for example. I agree with you about 85% of the time, but there are times when I totally disagree (Southland Tales, A Scanner…
Probisci sounds like suschi
