I really liked this episode. I always felt like the whole conspiracy thing was more of a MacGuffin (can you call it that?) plot that was always in the background and Britten had to figure out, and the actual specifics of that plot didn't matter much, so it worked. I think in the end that supposed heroin plot is left

The introduction of Matinee (the Mant! trailer, ending with John Goodman on a chair), is probably one of my favourite introductions to anything ever.

You're not the only one! In fact, George Martin liked her so much in the role he might give Osha more to do in the books.

Yes, and the show badly needs more of these. I feel like Stannis (and Davos, too) has been given far too little screentime, which doesn't make him seem as big of a threat as he is and very little sense of what he's like. (In fact, the second scene we see him in is him having rough sex with Melisandre - something that

Matinee is such a lovely film which completely understands both the ridiculousness and the affection for B-movies. It's terrific and everyone should watch it.

"if you appreciate the Bashir/O'Brien dynamic" - How can anyone not?

God, I love the therapists.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too - he seems to have taken the role of Reek in the way that he urges Theon on to do horrible things (although as of late, that seems to come from himself).

Goodbye to Jason Isaacs

They should just put on an endless loop for 24 hours beforehand, I'd watch all of it.

Actually, now I know that she's Charlie Chaplin's granddaughter, I can't help but imagine her with a small moustache and bowler hat. Takes away a bit of the sexiness (but not much).

If you see blue balls in Westeros, better check the colour of the eyes above.

I really like Iain Glen, but he should've been Kevan.

Yes, and if you watch the end of a film you will know how it ends. Brilliant!
