It should be dead and buried, but it keeps shuffling forward like some kind of ravenous horrible thing, I dunno, like that guy that was thrown out of the all-you-can-eat joint because he could eat too much. Or like that bus that couldn't slow down because the studio had already invested waaaay too much money in it.

That reads more like Herzog. Malick would be "Nature is sublime and beautiful and goes awesome with this hushed, portentous, and pretentious voiceover. I kept a dream journal in high school."

In the first Sherlock Holmes story, "A Study In Scarlet," the detective declares that it doesn't matter if the earth revolves around the sun or vice versa. Then there's an extensive flashback involving Mormons. A little weird, pulpier than I expected, and worth a read.

Well, do we know that LV-223 was only a munitions dump? Just because the first installation Prometheus found was full of bio-weapons doesn't mean that there weren't awesome miniature golf courses or outlet malls a few miles away. They should maybe have surveyed the planet from orbit in order to keep from stumbling

That's a job for geographers or cartographers or spelunkers, not mineral experts.

This movie was like when my He-Man dolls fought my Star Wars dolls and I drew a mouth on the palm of my hand to make a tentacle monster and it killed everyone.
