Twitch Of The Death Nerve II: Twich Deathier

The good Bava! \m/

SPOILERS I guess, about things whose non-resolution is kind of a spoiler

There's something to be said for making it more difficult - even to the point of making it a gigantic pain in the ass - for a self-destructive person  to harm themselves.

I give an edge to season 3, mostly because I think the long term vision stuff works better, but season 2 has something of "the classic lineup" going for it.

They're not fun, are they? They both have their moments (thank you, Rygel) but even when this show was at its bleakest it usually did a good job of making it exciting. These episodes are just dour as shit.

Farscape unfortunately ended up bringing up a LOT of little (and not so little) plot points that it never managed to satisfactorily resolve, but you don't often see it bring it up and fail to resolve it all in one episode.

I've always considered "Crackers Don't Matter" to be the best episode to show a newbie, if you were only going to show them one episode to demonstrate what's great about this show, without too much continuity baggage. Well, either this or "Different Destinations".

Poor Chiana gets handled a little roughly in both of these episodes; Aeryn pretty brusquely just expects her to do her laundry for her, and John's dismissal of her is pretty cold considering the obvious pain she's in. Beyond that though, both episodes allow Aeryn some opportunities to shine, both in doing her badass

I said I liked the scene in the metal shop!

My parents just saw it a few weeks ago, which is what led me to check out the movie soon after.

Lookit Jane Fonda being all frumpy n' shit. That's adorable.

Love me some Hobo Humpin Slobo Babe!

Not sure what you're asking, @avclub-7399a8aa203c68565ff7196769deadc6:disqus .

Just a few days ago, I saw a boy who looked about 8 or 9 buying a Jughead Jones book. So, that kid right there.

Morton Downey Jr….Morton Downey Jr.

This series has really lost all momentum post-Adversary…I liked the idea of the boogeyman as their new badguy but it never went anywhere.

Also out this week: Thunderdome, bitches!

Jesus mongoose-pimping Christ how can this even be a question Heartbroken

Even Seagal's good movies are pretty shitty. Some remarkably so - Under Siege has like one good fight scene in a metal shop, but somehow misses one opportunity after another to give novelty deaths to the villains who actually get lines.
