Those clothes could easily be Britta's, color-wise if not size-wise. She picked them out?
I suppose it's not a beat that can be hit every episode, but in terms of serialization, it bugs me that in terms of Troy-and-Abed, this episode could just as easily have been a pre-kerfuffle episode. The salient point is not intelligence/lack thereof but cynicism/lack thereof. It might be too pat for Troy to quote-unquote save Britta from the pizza guy and Shirley from drinking, but if he does, it is because he doesn't yet know to be jaded about things.
Britta resting her head on Pierce's shoulder (which I had failed to notice, so thank you) is even better than the warm, matter-of-fact way she takes Abed's arm.
I don't think pandas have time for that. Gotta eat a lotta bamboo.
