@futurechimp Yeah they screened it but not for money…a couple of my friends are deep into B-movies and cult films and set up a makeshift drive in every summer to bring a thick layer of cheese to the season.

Yellow is not very coherent. Blue is a bit more linear. I was left thinking I may not be getting it or there was some poor execution. The problem was Sjoman was a overambitious in what he wanted to say and tried to cram everything into these films. The original message gets lost and it is difficult to appreciate as a

See HMPL as part of a double feature with something to do with metal/stoners. I saw it at a guerilla drive-in with the Black Roses - A turkey of a b-movie about a group of demons set on possessing a small town under the guise of a rock band. Other possibilities Beavis and Butthead Do America, Bill & Ted's Excellent

I'm with you Derek..B & B was also very much of its time.

Buffalo Stance would have been an interesting cover but I'm glad they kept Islands in the Stream.

IN 3D

I'm Netflix streaming 30 Rock season 3 and just watched the episode where Tracy decides he can afford to pay the fines to swear on live TV and boards the train headed on a collision course for wackiness.

Blaffair to Rememblack is my vote for best title but Who Dat Ninja? has potential for the midnight movie crowd.

Inspiral Carpets
Gone but not forgotten.

Adult Themes for Voice
Like much of Patton's art music output, there are nuggets of brilliance mixed up with what I think is him trying to damn hard to be weird.

GI Joe
The only thing worth revisiting from GI Joe are the PSAs for a little ironic entertainment. Don't Hide In A Fridge and How to Tread Water are my favs.

It's driving me out of my mind
That's why it's hard for me to find
Can't get it outta my head
Miss her, kiss her, love her, wrong move you're dead

Saw the Vomit Arsonist perform…industrial noise with lots of shouting. He's a nice guy with an insufferable girlfriend.

It took me a two chorus to accept Satchmo isn't the only one who is allowed to sing Zat You. I thought they brought something different to both songs. The singing saw was a great sound for Let It Snow.

I have a feeling Kubrick's estate has something to do with WB's artistic respect. I suspect somewhere in the contract is a clause that prohibits altering Kubricks films in any way without the auteur's consent.

Paging Dr. Spaceman.

Albini has never had a problem producing an artist he doesn't like - see Pixies Surfer Rosa, but will not bend his style to the artist being recorded - see the Fugazi sessions. Selling out has more to do with a drastic compromising of your ethos for a buck. If you're willing to work with anyone, regardless of fame,
