What if you hated it in high school?
I have mixed feelings about Burton. I really like some of his work and am completely turned off by some of it. In my social circles, this isn't illegal to say, but I'm sure if I said it in front of my sister and her hipster Brooklynite friends, all hell would break loose. Modell is right that this movie has a Burton…
Well, I will admit that is a bit of hyperbole on my part. I do think it is worth watching, but for me, not worth re-watching or falling in love with, which I know is not the case for many others. I've seen it twice, once when it was in the theaters, which would have made me around 11 at the time, and then again last…

My dear man, why would you sully the good name of reality television by undermining its hallowed principles of integrity and decency in this way? For what end do you propose this deceit?
An anti-Semite?
Yes, they pretty much were, Jorge.
Haysoos, how did you miss the inescapable, undeniable fact that Scott Caan is a horrible actor? Just curious.
Can't we just forget?
I would just like to be able to enjoy his performances in the Lethal Weapon movies without ever knowing or thinking about his descent into insanity.
I wanted to like Blue Bloods since I'm a big Tom Selleck fan, including his Jesse Stone tv movies, but it's just crap, unfortunately. I kinda like Detroit 187, which has led to me now ordering the first season of Homicide from Netflix and remembering what network tv used to have the potential to be.
Now I'm confused.
I won't be surprised if in better economic times, when parents have more disposable income, things go back to the terrible way they were.
Horselover, you son of a bitch.
Just to clarify, I think all of those movies are better on repeat viewings, but Paths of Glory is the one I've seen the most often and the one I was saying gets better every time.
A lot of movies fall into this category:
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Pledge, Zodiac, The Prestige, Fight Club, Body Heat, Memories of Murder, The Dancer Upstairs, The Machinist, and Paths of Glory gets better every time I watch it.

Ugh, please retire, Tobias. Or stick to editing the work of better writers.
Primus
I hope there will be some discussion of Primus somewhere along the way.
Dirt is an awesome album.

It's called a dayroom, not a breakroom, Sean. At least in the North Carolina prison system.
