@avclub-ac34e9ae168c9afcfbf6d415d4fb8bf8:disqus   I just have an HP - nothing fancy.  I think it didn't fry because (1) it wasn't turned on or even plugged in at the time, (2) it was "standing" in my laptop case, so the water settled at the bottom of the case, not on the keyboard.

It does.  And I brought my Sonic Screwdriver to the gun duel.  That's how I won.

Thanks for the offer, but I already have two Sonic Screwdrivers.  I only have one tweed jacket though, so I'll take another jacket instead.

Honestly, I'm most excited about the laptop thing.  I don't have a real job, so it doesn't matter if I passed the bar or not.  And if someone doesn't like that I like Doctor Who, screw him.  But my laptop isn't broken!

Good things that happened today:

I agree that The Middle is better than New Girl.  While some people don't like Patricia Heaton, she doesn't completely ruin episodes the way that Zooey Deschanel's Zooey-Deschanel-ness can.  The Middle also features many well-developed characters, while New Girl has been struggling with the Winston problem since the

I'm going to watch that tonight!

My first thought when I saw this post was "Sounds like a job for Dave Nielsen" from Newsradio.

I am going to drink wine out of a Diet Coke can tonight.

I'm in the middle of a move, so I'm drinking my wine out of a Doctor Who mug tonight.  But only because I couldn't get a Diet Coke can clean and dried fast enough.  So I am gesturing semi-freely with my hands.

Yes.  Yes, you do.  For so many reasons.

Thanks to a certain television show, I can no longer see a Mexican restaurant on TV without assuming that it's Senor Kevin's.

You win.  You always do.  That's why I come up here.

I spent three hours and ten minutes on the phone with my sister tonight.  For no particular reason, other than that we were both bored.  And a solid 15 minutes of the conversation was devoted to singing "Werewolf Bar Mitzvah" and "Let's Go to the Mall."

It ain't easy being brown . . .

@avclub-d783823cc6284b929c2cd8df2167d212:disqus   I made it through the whole article, but the RH stuff was so painful to read.  I mostly glossed over it, probably because I was suffering from several mini-strokes while reading those paragraphs.

That is well-reasoned and thought out.  However, the people in the discussion did not make such good points.  And even if the "totally ripped off from Doctor Who" part was not in reference to "Blink," I am dumbfounded as to which episode of Doctor Who featured multiple timelines and was as well-crafted and executed as

I'm trying to think of the last time that reading something has made me so upset.  This is ridiculous, and not just because I think Community fans are the best.

They might actually get me to watch an episode of Modern Family.  I say "might," because as thrilling and weird as it would be to see Jason Mantzoukas as Haley's boyfriend, you know that they're just going to Modern Family-ize him and he won't be anywhere as funny as El Cunado or Dennis Feinstein.

Watching FNL season five and Billy Riggins told Coach Taylor:  "Football is in my blood."
I immediately replied:  "That's racist."
