Like 'Football In The Groin', The Shaggs can be enjoyed on many levels… most of them unintentional, but still.
I'm undecided how I feel about that damn LP. It's hysterical, but their backstory really puts an edge on it.
"Because unscripted programming is relatively inexpensive…"
Stopped reading right there. C'mon, ANY "reality" show (including the "competition" format) ever was/is scripted and staged. Why do people cling to this?
Gaahh! Those costumes AND Glozell Green???
This guy should hook up with Jason Friedberg & Aaron Seltzer.
I did too!
They captured the EC spirit, but the CryptKeeper was the weakest aspect. What an annoying little a-hole.
No contest: The Munsters had the Munster Koach, the Drag-u-la and Hermy-baby was the original openly gay monster, well before Frankenberry.
A wizard did it.
Can't see it at the IMBD, but I know I saw her in one of those Sunn Classic 'Mysteries From Beyond' films, where she and her annoying son's RV was pummeled by styrofoam boulders. It was great.
Not quite on topic, but this makes me think of when UK host Noel Edmonds was pushed in the U.S. as the next big thing. The (talk) show was a massive bomb (I remember a coked-out Vanity as a guest). It's totally forgotten today.
I'm old and don't like new things! Seems like you're courting the youngsters with their crazy hair and 'yeah, yeah, yeah' music! Shoulda called it 'Onion Soup', as it's just like a certain TV show! Get off of my lawn!
Looks the same as the 'Jem & The Holograms' movie.
So everyone in New York works at a fucking magazine?
Here's a 'Daily Show' bit: She's not funny.
Sounds like she's getting close to Whitney Cummings-like overexposure. and we all know how well that went.
That posed still above is the worst.
It should be 'Japan FINALLY appoints Godzilla its tourism ambassador' - and 'The Words Get Stuck In My Throat' as the national anthem.
Apart from looking terrible, a few scenes in the trailer appeared, oddly, green-screened.
Re: 'Silence Of The Lambs'
The research Glenn regrets was listening to an audio-tape made by two 70's serial killers of the torture of one of their victims.
Not taking ANYTHING away from the poor soul who suffered such a horrible end but, damn, I've read just a portion of the transcript and it still haunts me.
I admire…
Fuck.
