Surf Nazis Must Die! is another classic
Okay, I see that others have already mentioned Poitn Break Live! below. Duely noted then.
Obviously Endless Summer
Come out to LA, Oats, and you could get your wish. Theres a theatre comapny out here that performs Point Break, I think once a month, and they always pull a random guy from the audience to play Utah. They've got cuecards fir the guy to read and whatnot. The idea is to capture the "rawness" of Reeves performance by…
Hey Utah! Get me two. Two.
Danm, honestly, I always thought Tasha was black too.
Clearly, this is the absolute worse release of the week. They should be ashamed
I think that Bill's speech should maybe be read more as a reflection on his own personality and beliefs, as opposed to a serious critique of Superman/Batman. To Bill, Superman's innate nature is in his Kryptonian blood. He was born a superhuman, and thats what defines him. Therefore, his identity as Clark Kent must be…
Yes, the "trilogy" showing elements of Batman's personality subverted/perverted was a great idea, and demonstrates how the creators were working with high concepts early on. Its much better than if they decided to begin with Batman cleaning up some two-bit hoods, or if they decided to do a straight chronology,…
I think people are wayt to hard on Futurama for having one clunker of an episode this season. I think in the face of that, the show also had some of the best episodes of the entire series. Maybe not in the top 10, but certainly in the top 15 or 20.
Colbert
Can anyone give me a reason why the Daily Show made the list, but Colbert was no where to be found? Really, the top TWENTY FIVE and no Colbert? When saw the Daily Show on the list, I expected Colbert to be somewhere further down, as his show has been consistently funnier than Stewart for the last few years.
Season 21!? Wait, there has to be like three seasons a year, right? Theres no way this show started when I was four.
also, the leader-guy is so friggin ugly its distracting
Look what happened to me without my pills!
"Well Bart, your uncle Arthutr used to have saying, "Kill them all and let God sort them out!" Unfortunately, one day he put his plan into action. It took 75 federal marshalls to bring him down. Now lets never speak of this again. Hmmm, hmmm, hmmm, hmm…"
Going back to the original post, one of my favorite running gags that speaks to the way the show once regularly subverted cliches and expectations was Bart's always depressing fantasies for his life. He cant wait to become drifter (Lousy mayor! Run me outta town, will he? Well, he just lost my vote!), to test…
Holy shit, E.Buzz, I was laughing at that qoute for a solid minute! I love whenever they take down Disney like.
I'm gonna haul ass to Lalapalooza!
