Love Mission Hill, wish Adult Swim would bring it back into rotation, but I dont see that influence here. I dont know if Stern worked on MH, I just know it Weinstein and Oakley's baby, arguably the two best showrunners the Simpsons ever had.

Shit, "Caucasian".
Am I the only one who was confused by Goofy's (and by extension most of the mamalian Disney characters') weird Caucasion face and black body?
Hey, lets give Teacher's Pet some credit. Gary Baseman owns!
Back to This Guys point above, its probably part of that weird underwear Mormons have to wear.
I wonder if the Nixon tapes will be in the deleted scenes.
Christ, I totally passed over the Vengance Trilogy on the list. Alright other than THAT, and some TV shows, nothing good this week.
You really no shit about Latin American racial politics, whether in the US or elsewhere. There is huge color-based discrimination in almost every Latin American country, the presistent residue of European colonialism, that carries over into race relations even in the US. If you're a light skinned Latino, then you…
I dont know how many Mexicanas Nabin encounters in the MidWest, but an elderly Hispanic grandmother fainting at the *first* sight of her granddaughters black fiance is believable to me. Hell, I have a Mexican girlfriend here in LA and we still get the occassional dirty look from white women or Hispanic men.
Did Not Expect
Princess and the Frog and Bandslam to be the "little-known" films to watch for this week. Really, nothing good this week except for some TV shows and MST3K. Oh, and how could I forget Suicide Girls.
Not as juicy as the last entry, for sure, but I think he's saving the Latin Explosion for the next entry. Talking about each track would get redundant, so its better to focus on those songs which seem to best represent the cultural trends of the time.
Limp Bizkit is perfectly justifiable when you're 13. When I look back on it now, I feel more embarrassed for my 19 year old cousin who listened to the same nu-metal crap that I did at the time. That would be like me listening to 30 Seconds to Mars at my age.
Ditto, Lex
Yeah, I defended "Single Ladies" earlier, but I think this would be a much better entry, if only for tis association with Charlie's Angels, the least feminist piece of pop culture in the last 30 years. It always bugged me to no end when they would describe the movies as being feminist. So being feminist is just about…
Anal Cunt is all over this one
Let the bears pay the bear tax! I pay the Homer tax!
That'd be fukcing awesome
For most of South Korea's existance it has been a rather brutal dictatorship, though an anti-communist one. There is no debate about this fact. And during all that time, the US has supported the dictatorship as preferable to a democracy which may try to reconcile with the North. That South Korea is a functioning…
Sure, its an Asian thing, since Stephen Chow and Bong Joon-Ho are the only filmmakers working in Asia (insert sarc mark).
A five is usually called a fin or finback.
