I agree, however turning him gay might be one of the few ways to make his character even remotely interesting.

I absolutely loved Jim Carrey in Eternal Sunshine. I don't find much wrong with his performance, his delivery was perfectly suited to the character on hand. It was odd, so is Carrey.
