Lost and 2BG are both terrible. But at least 2BG has had the good taste to be totally upfront about the fact that it is lazy and thoughtless. Lost was the TV equivalent of the Sokal hoax—it threw out layers of obfuscation to hide the fact that it had nothing to say, no message, and no value.

I agree completely. I've really enjoyed every episode except Frank's Brother, which was so bad I skipped over most of it. Every other episode this season was good, and some of it was seriously brilliant, the best the show's ever done.

I actually thought season 2 was about as good as season 1. I loved S3 too, though. Dean O'Dell was a great character. Paul Rudd's guest appearance was really fun, too.
I also liked the depiction of the Lilith House. You have to remember that about the time Rob Thomas was writing these shows, the Duke Lacrosse Rape Case…

I don't grade on a curve. This was a terrible episode of futurama, and a slightly worse than average episode of television.

They had an episode that was basically an extensive reference to Ally McBeal, which I suspect has less cultural staying power than Lady Gaga, at least.

Easily the worst episode of the season.
I've enjoyed all the episodes of the season so far, but I only laughed once at this entire episode (Bender's comment about the evangelist in the whorehouse on Christmas).

I actually like Louie more than Curb. And I freaking love CYE. FX does produce some amazing TV for one small network. Sons of Anarchy, Sunny, Archer, Damages, The Shield, Terriers….
