Semiologically I can see how the two could come about independently as Bonaparte sounds a bit like blown-a-part, which is what dynamite does to you. Or maybe that's a logical leap only I make.

"Many do."

Coincidentally I just finished watching the episode where Shirley gets re-married to Andre, which features Shirley reasserting her role in their marriage as the breadwinner and Britta rejecting (and momentarily, begrudgingly accepting) the typical role of the wedding obsessed woman. I don't think I could appreciate

It was Mick.

Well, it confused the shit out of me, along with Ren telling Stimpy to "get his fanny in here", or something along those lines.

I think it's a grey area (or a Danes Anomaly once removed), because it was Lorelei's suggestion that Luke get a new apartment in the first place, so they may not be talking about a Gilmore Girl but they are talking about an idea that came from a Gilmore Girl.

Emily is more obnoxious but I think her reasoning is very interesting. She does something that she thinks is cheating on Richard, but blames Lorelei instead of having to deal with why she would want to dance with that guy.

Yeah, I do too. Specifically Miss Patty not knowing who he is in Doose's Market.

The first thing I ever saw Shandling in was his really unconformable hour long interview with Ricky Gervais for the short lived 'Ricky Gervais Meets…' so I've never had a problem seeing him as an asrehole. (Just for clarity: I don't think Gervais comes off well from that interview either but it is an interesting watch

Well, there is the scene where Mrs. Kim tells Rory that Lane is studying late at school before she sprays her with the hose. And Lane knows Mrs. Kim's schedule well enough that she could avoid public events if she is likely to see them.

In an odd piece of positive continuity, a few episodes from now Lorelei and Jess will eat left over Chinese food for lunch and in 'Richard in Stars Hollow' Jess says that Rory 'owes him an egg roll', whilst she is holding Chinese food.

DID SOMEBODY SAY WONDERfalls!?

@Thats_Unpossible:disqus To make things easier there could be the 'Lane Substitution' where Lane is substituted for a Gilmore girl in matters concerning the band?

No Gilmore Girls character is more deserving of an anomaly than Rune but Zach and Brian may render that term obsolete, the Danes Anomaly
Anomaly just isn't catchy is it? Any ideas?

I think the Michel/Rune one deserves a special mention because it doesn't involve Luke, Jess, Taylor or Kirk.

God, that last quote makes me laugh every time, even reading it just now. It's the way Emily completely ignores that Richard gave a cheerful compliment, like she had the dress line cocked and just went for it.

Last year the Chilton English Literature students did the climatic last scene of Richard III as the final days of 'The Sonny and Cher Show'.
Or, as Richard Gilmore calls it, 'The Deceased Mustachioed Congressman and Tall Bony One Show'.

I think the pregnant woman gave them the name of the person asking the questions on the tape and they were searching some sort of database with that information. Holder said they already had the guy in for questioning after bringing him in at the motel but I don't think we saw his face until the print out.

That Hank will take one says a lot about his internalization of his relationship with Larry (because he was saving them for him/someone special), and him spitting it out and pretending it's nothing is hilarious.

Oh, I didn't mean it detracts from the show at all, just from my enjoyment slightly. And yes, particularly Artie who is a masterpiece of the 'dealing with the talent' character type.
