Definitely the last bit for me. I've got no problem with the guy but it wouldn't kill him to the give the fans who made him a star the ending they're asking for. If he eventually passes on it though expect the backlash to get ridiculous.

You and I have different understandings of what a book should do, so I can't tell you when it will get "exciting." I don't care if a book ever gets exciting. If it's thought-provoking and has artistic meaning, I can get by without a fight every two pages. And that's exactly what Watchmen is.
