Ya, definitely the first time for that for Sal. The acting was terrific. Was I the only one cheering in my living room when that was happening? I have no class.

I've read the first two and really liked them. I think the third one got to the, like, next generation of characters and stopped. I should get back on that.

Rufus Wainwright & Bea
There is a really awesome story in an old "Rufus Wainwright: Live at the Rehearsal Hall," where he talks about the time he met Bea Arthur (who is, of course, referenced in his song "California.") I tried finding the clip online and failed, but basically, he talks about how he used to watch

I think for a first go round, their "Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?" is a solid choice. The stuff earlier than that, I find, isn't that close to where they are now, and "Live it Out" is great, but maybe less … accessible? for a new listener. Just my two cents, but enjoy!

Oh totally. I had a moment of 'Wait? She loses Aaron in the grocery store, and THAT'S what she never wants to talk about with Jack?"

That scene at the end was, I think, the best part. Good episode, but Locke's demeanor and the look in Ben's face was too awesome.

Wow, where was that as a question for Ask the AV Club, instead all three hundred (or so) about Unico?
