More like a commentary the cynical nature of modern superheroes. How else can Marvel prove that this all serious business unless they show these fun characters going through hell.

Yay, she gets the Speedball/Penance treatment! Civil War 2 is certainly living up to the horribleness of the original.

And it totally deserved to.

Yeah, I hate what Marvel has done to the Inhumans these days, they keep trying to force them into a position that doesn't suit them while seeming to do everything in their power to get irk the people who already like them.

Yeah, I'm not just blindly hating or anything but literally every episode of The Americans stomps all over GoT in this regard. You can trip over better writing from so many shows before getting to the likes of GoT(and that episode? Total head-scratcher).

Gods, Game of Thrones winning for "Writing For A Drama Series" is laughable.

Well the first season is far from perfect, the first half of it in particular can be a bit trying, but the season does have good stuff in it so I would recommend starting from the beginning.

Dang right.

I think Snyder's DOTD is pretty spiffy(it does feel almost dirty to say something positive about Snyder these days).

"Things not recommended in the Fear the Walking Dead thread:

Oh man, you should've watched the second episode of Season 2, "White Light", it was easily my favorite episode of television last year.

Nice, Z Nation reviews!

This is already the best X-Men related adaptation, this can't come soon enough.

Is it too late to make that stupid "Ben Affleck's Batman is secretly Deathstroke" rumor a reality? 'Cause Joe Manganiello would be really great as a Batman who was, you know, likable.

More Officer Haught you say? I approve.

Never am I more confused than when Dark Matter and Killjoys get brought up and people shout out their love of the former over the latter. It's just…how?

What is with that Drive Angry jab at the end? Drive Angry is everything a crazy b-movie should aspire to be: over the top, an engaging but simple plot, has a great cast of characters and actors, a strong villain, and is completely unashamed of itself.

The final season of LOST is flat out terrible storytelling and even with everyone agreeing that "Ab Aeterno" is the sole bright spot, coming out and praising the final season in any way beyond that is ludicrous.

The amazing thing is that that scene worked against all rhyme or reason, as the review points out Tyrion and Dany have almost no relationship on the show so everything between them is completely unearned.

And the Lannisters(and thus the Crown) are completely broke but I think the show wants us to forget such things.
