Surprisingly good, I was expecting Beauty and the Beast levels of crud but it was a fairly solid start. And though covering similar territory as Defiance this was a much stronger first episode than what that show had.

You will watch Star-Crossed because I don't want to be the only in that them there comment section.

Bunheads…it still hurts.

Good episode but it was definitely too jam packed I think, nothing really had time to breathe which sucks because it was all good stuff. I probably would've ditched everything Moira and saved that for the next episode, this should've been all Lance.

Exactly what I was going to say. These scenes are so great largely because of the interplay between the slow-motion and the selected song.

Said no one. Ever.

Her argument was so convincing because it was completely true, I turned to my brother after the brain reveal and I said something like "So how are we ever supposed to be on SHIELD's side again?"

I am being about as fair as one could be, everyone going out on a mission should be carrying a sidearm, Fitz, Simmons, Skye, the whole lot, with May and Ward(and anyone else doing the actual field work) should be well armed on top of that. Doubly so when you are breaking into a badguy's base and you know for a fact

As he should be. Taking a good moment from the Avengers flick and hacking away at it until it becomes the foundation for Agents of SHIELD? I hope Shepherd Bo…erm, Doctor Unclear takes a long look at himself every morning for being a part of this shameful display, even if he only showed up on day 7.

The best part is that our crack team of agents have between them one gun and it is a fancy tranq one at that. Carry some firearms when you are going to fight supersoldiers, ya morons.

I loved that after getting some vague memories about what happened to him, Coulson found the doctor involved to get some clarification and the doctor's response was even more vague.

I think the ending bit was The Machine adding just the potential variable of an operating Samaritan to the mix, hence the "Unknown." status. Which pretty much means the same thing and that it definitely is in play because you can't tease us with a competing machine and then not deliver.

I was grinning like an idiot this whole episode.

But from a narrative point of view it is a complete dead end.

Really liked this one.

This is the first episode of The Blacklist I have seen and if this was a C+ then this show must be pretty amazing to account for that low grade(which I doubt is the case).

I think the two halves are pretty symbiotic at this point, almost perfectly so.

I assume this is some type of metaphor for sex that I have never had the pleasure of coming across.

That is actually a very cool idea. I mean it would be cool if more shows would try stuff like that anyways but the theme-appropriate-ness is too good. Now I'm bummed that this won't happen.

I know it has already been said before but I really, really love the two leads and their chemistry. Pretty much any time the two are doing anything together I am enjoying it.
