The middle of this album is a chore to listen to. The hook on Battle Scars especially. Found myself enjoying the rest of it a lot more than I thought I would going in.

I guess the Lupe review will be next week. Any chance we get a Brother Ali review? Enjoyed his album a lot more than I did this.

The Kendrick Lamar guest spot is indeed stellar. The Mac Miller verse on the other hand, not so much.

"I was raised by the stop sign"

This was definitely their Emmy episode imo. Everyone was on fire. I especially loved Frank's line about being a workaholic after he volunteers to take Jimmy's shift.

Let me the millionth to say it, The ArchAndroid was awesome. Looking forward to marking those two dates on my calendar.

Fair enough.

Apparently we're alone in our opinions. 3 comments, lol.

Definitely one of my favorite moments on the album.

I'd definitely have both in my top 5. Oneirology's still probably my favorite. Feels like it came out ages ago, but I still find myself listening to it on a regular basis. Daily Bread, The Book of David, Returnof4eva, a lot of good albums this year, hard to figure out where to rank them all.

Couldn't agree more. I had no idea who he was until I heard him on Covert Coup earlier this year, but I've been hooked ever since.

I really enjoyed the ending as well, especially Burt's line about not buying his color tv to watch black and white movies.

B is awfully generous, looking forward to seeing how Yelawolf's album stacks up by comparison.

Completely agree with dead souls, the Crisp storyline seems to play out exactly like Vincent Chase's career storyline always played out on Entourage. Much too cheery and predictable for my taste. There are lots of things I find enjoyable about this show, that storyline is simply not one of them though.

Machine Gun Kelly was part of the BET Hip Hop Awards as well. Completely forgettable, not quite sure what Jimmy Iovine and Diddy see in him.

Definitely surprised by the low number of comments as well. There's twenty times as many posts discussing an unspeakably bad episode of The Office.
Goldblum was terrific tonight, great casting.

Truly the most unfortunate lyric of the year. Wheelchair Jimmy makes for a rather unconvincing studio gangster.
