I thought that was a great line, just because it showed us where Korra's mind really is right now. She's not fighting for justice or to save her friends. She's fighting to avenge a slight.

Notice how, in this episode, Korra does pretty much anything but what Tenzin tells her she should do? I don't think that Korra has genuinely accepted the fact that she needs to learn from Tenzin, and regard him as her superior. I think maybe that's the big breakthrough that she's waiting for.
