I suppose I'll be the one to bring it up: You saw "The Voice in the Night" (One of the best episodes so far, in my mind), but it didn't quite stack up to "The Spirit of Competition"?

I was going to bring this up, and this is as good a place as any: The first two flashbacks that Korra had were in close proximity to Amon. She didn't have one last week, and Amon wasn't around. She DID have one this week, and only Tarrlok was around. What, if anything, do we make of that?

@avclub-55655e3296788419699ec577c7a76f6b:disqus It was actually from how easy it was for Team Avatar to take down this group of chi-blockers, given the threat they've shown Amon's henchmen to be in the past.

Speaking of the commercials that run during these shows, did anyone find that marketing a doll for "Brave" runs contrary to the message of the film (I assume. I haven't seen it yet)?

Yeah, at first I wasn't sure what was going on (I thought maybe Aang was holding her back), then I realized what was going on and had a similar reaction to yours.

'Liked' for use of "votebending".

That was the other possibility I thought of for why Tarrlok would get so angry about being compared to Amon, too. It's not because they're working together; Tarrlok genuinely thinks Amon is a monster (or, an Amonster!). I hadn't thought of the siblings angle, though.

@avclub-91546109eaf110327d50b0955865712a:disqus That's also gotta be where we get Dante Basco's contribution to the series. He's got to be voicing Zuko in a flashback. Also, I'm going to be a very happy camper if Aang sends spirit Appa to fetch spirit Korra.

38 seconds. Top that.

I've said it before—eyes are the wrong color. So far, colored contact lenses haven't been introduced in the Avatar universe.
