I think season 4 gets more love as time goes on. There is a lot of crap sure but its a lot funner and less depressing then the later stuff plus when you rewatch you can just skip beer bad and whatever ones you don't like. I think there is something about doing an interview on stage rather than in private. It will always be a performance rather than a pure conversation. They can be funny or shocking but rarely insightful.
