I believe Marc has mentioned being considered as a potential host for the daily show or another talk show at comedy central in place of it around the time Stewart was made host. He was probably a complete asshole to John due to jealousy.

To be fair he actually is part asian.

I really don't think it was that hard-to-market just they did a terrible job of it.

Goddamn this show just went and made Ben my favourite character in anything. Who doesn't love claymation? Also turning his enjoyment of calzones into a thing is just perfect who doesn't have that one specific food they obsess over.  

How do they enforce it?

Keep in mind Marc is pretty self obsessed and doesn't do much research.

Disagree I think that is what really made it into an amazing episode. To turn it from a pure emotive piece into a more contextual one. The counter arguments do not excuse the practice but I am glad I heard them. If anything they gave more weight to it.

Nick Swardson seems cool with him. I think the personal relationship of each probably matters more. 

I think a lot of it comes down to editing also.

I don't think Catherine Keener was that bad in 40 year old virgin nor Christina Applegate in Anchorman. And for the criticism some give knocked up I find Katherine Heigl's character far less offensive than every character she has ever played. Also Lindsay Weir is one of the best teenage female characters in television.

I think parks and recs can put the idea to rest.

Sorry if that came off as dickish. I don't consider it a personal failing or from a lack of intelligence. I mean it is sad that American culture is so dominant. That even the pop culturally savvy have to go well out of their way to have a passing familiarity with other cultures that speak their own language.

The possum is the episode that tuned me from hey this show is pretty good to this is one of the best shows.

Last exit is definitely the best in my books. Monorail is two.
