Whaaa
Next week looks action-packed. And what's with that baby?

I'm hoping that this whole fate/God thing is explained as the actions of The First People or something. At much as it pains me to admit it, because I love this show, some of the soul stuff is getting a little hokey.

I dislike the Tori Amos/Kate Bush comparison. Tori Amos bores the hell out of me.

I like how she was holding her emotions in the whole time and the minute Peter walked away, she exhaled and just broke up. That was stellar.

Couldn't agree with you more on that. I think Olivia spent a couple of episodes really broken up and insecure but it's understandable. And it bugged me that people kept pointing out how they didn't like this "weak" version of her. But considering the circumstances I think she's doing pretty damn well.

I thought it was an A episode. The age thing didn't bother me so much, I just assumed it would be hard to find 7 year olds to play those roles. I think the young Peter and Olivia were magnificent.

I pictured that happening while watching that last scene go down.

Nimoy tweet last month:

It's already been established that Peter remembers nothing from his childhood.

"soul magnets"
Could this be how Nimoy comes back on the show? I hope they find a way to do it that is somewhat believable. The word "soul" in science fiction makes me nervous.

Hahaha, I'm actually kind of excited to see it. Olivia as a kid should be interesting.

I disagree as well. One of my favorite episodes of the season. And I think they introduced an element that will be important in the story - that rifts between the two worlds can be healed without having to sacrifice one or the other. Also, the idea that things are entangled.

In the alt universe, beetles are called roaches.

Do you sympathize with Walter? The same things could be said about him. A guy who experimented on children, on his son and fatally on other people. not to mention he may be responsible for tearing a hole in the fabric of reality.

I like the alt Fringe team too. They kind of make up for the lack of Walter's wackiness with their interactions.

I love the characters but I think I've always been in the minority in that I don't really care if Peter and Olivia end up together. That part at the end with Nina/Sam made me cringe a little. It was too reminiscent of a soap opera plot, something along the lines of, "Who will he choose? The woman he loves or the woman

My guess is that some of the first people survived and they wrote the book.

"They're not even human."
With Anna Torv and John Noble doing such a great job playing two roles, it was interesting to see Josh Jackson doing the same. The whole "evil Peter" twist really surprised me. I was shocked to see him kill the shapeshifters without remorse. Even though he's done it before…

I love creating levels in this game. It's probably the most fun I've had with any video game in recent memory. And I don't really mind the cutesy designs. I get bored with all of the post-apocalyptic first person shooters that know only two colors : grey and greyer.

Violet Sedan Chair
It's also worth mentioning the really cool viral campaign the Fringe people did for this episode. They hid Violet Sedan Chair "Seven Suns" records that contain spoilers at indie record stores across the country. A few have been found already.
