Apparently Tyler Hoechlin needs a 20 minute "tight pants" warning from the crew. The pants they give him are so tight and uncomfortable he takes them off and only puts them on 20 minutes before shooting a scene. It was very noticeable tonight. Not that I'm complaining…

NO NO NO

I know this is strange, but the only time I cried was when Walter saw Gene again. It seems so, so stupid. I just thought it was poignant. It's those stupid little things that make us human. An observer could never love a cow!

Now that Fringe is going to be on Netflix, I seriously envy the people who are going to start watching it from the beginning. They'll go into it thinking they are going to watch a mediocre X-Files rip off…if only they knew what was in store!

Here's what I think about your first point: The show is asking you to take a leap of faith. It's asking you to believe that Peter/Olivia will find each other again because they are connected.

I remember when Lost was on people were always saying how it's "about the characters", as if you have to sacrifice great/complex sci-fi concepts in order to have great characters. But some of the best sci fi stories have both. I think Fringe has proven that. I care just as much about what happens to the crazy universe

I think this show has earned its sap. I'm all for it.

My theory: There's no way they would have shown that glimpse of Olivia/Peter being separated in the promo without having something up their sleeves. I thought the exact same thing. Damn September you fine.

I don't know if you noticed it, but the frog was also standing in the background when they were inside that barn near the dock. I thought it was pretty funny.

The guy was Walter. It's a callback to the Peter episode where Nina tried to stop Walter from crossing over to the other universe. She lost her arm when the portal closed on it.

The northeast looks different to us because we live in a different universe. Duh.

So at this point, has the show made a connection to every freak-of-the-week from Season 1? I loved seeing the Observer kid come back.
