So is The Big Bang Theory *actually* being covered this week? Last week's review still hasn't gone up.

Always interesting to see different reviewers give vastly different grades. Donna seemed to love almost all of season 9, Todd gives it a C+. I may not have thought ALL of them were as high as she did, but season 9 seemed better than a C+ to me.

Does someone with a better memory and/or more time on their hands care to point out all the times there have been hints that the Mother might be dead? The "45 days" speech sticks out, and the general "why would he be doing this" also fits well enough, but have there been any others?

Well, they've said multiple times they filmed a scene with the kids waaaay back when the show started. The scene was done as sort of a post-story scene to show when the show ended… if that's the case, and if the Mother really is dead/dying, then a visit to the grave or something like that would be the exact sort of

I feel stupid now, because I never even considered Future Ted's crying to be a reference to The Mother… I just thought Ted's own mom didn't make it to his. I'm still not convinced a comedy - as sad as it has gotten - would spend nine years building up to the reveal that The Mother is dead/dying. I really hope that

There have been times where HIMYM has leaned too far in the emotional direction, and too far in the comedic direction, resulting in everything feeling a little forced (or sometimes lazy). These past two episodes haven't felt like that at all and are a perfect reminder of HIMYM striking the balance between comedy and

So Series 3 as a whole got a B+, but the individual reviews never went above a B?..

Really, Todd? No mention of the BREAKING NEWS on TV saying Troy and Levar were captured by pirates?!

Anyone else starting to miss "Thank you, Linus!" ? :(

Small nit-pick: didn't Finn teleport to Mars in the "pilot" to talk with Honest Abe?

For the reviewer, or anyone who's already seen it: if you get motion sickness easily, should you avoid this movie?  Or is it not really an issue?

Definitely though the second one was a Smurfs parody… (I've never seen Strawberry Shortcake though), and laughed about a billion times at the Scooby Doo segment.

In next week's epiphany episode, I cannot stand the fact that most (all?) TV broadcasts cut out the first time Eliott freaks out about intubating a patient.  It basically makes the whole thing feel really weird and random, as the first time she "freaks out" is now basically just her going "… Dr. Cox!"

I've probably just been watching too many romcoms lately, but after Leela cut off Fry's "Leela and I!" blurt, I half-expected it to cut back to the zoo's screens and show Fry proposing.  Seems like a very "Final Season!" thing to do in the premiere…

^^^^ this.  Seriously, I'm now left wondering how big a twist that would have been if I hadn't known it was coming since before the episode even started..

Did anyone else notice the Whispermen creeping in the window behind Jenny and Madame Vastra right before they entered the trance?

Not to mention, even Tumblr is smart enough to know the difference between "write" and "right"…

This was at least an A- for me, if not a full-on A.

How does this compare to the older Teen Titans cartoon from 2003?  I really liked that, but part of that was because of some of the "darker" moments in it.  Do you think this version will ever reach that level?  Or is it *too* kid-friendly for that?

"Insane, Obviously Wrong Theory Corner" every week, please.  Forever.
