So suggesting Bill come to Nebraska, a state that never had slaves, and work in the field is the context for Bill calling himself a house n——-. Got it. Do you know the context of the term house n——-? In the black community it's an insult implying that you're soft and kind of a sell out. It's something Bill said, and

So the joke is he's obviously not a black slave. Seriously, it's not just remarkably offensive, it's not even a joke with any thought to it. Which is the problem.

Where was the joke? Calling himself a house n——-? Is that supposed to be funny? There's no setup or context to make that funny, other than rich white dude is calling himself a n——-.

Yes, I have seen Bill Maher through his years since ABC, and can say unequivocally he does not show any empathy toward anyone or group of people who are not like him. He has consistently demeaned women, Muslims, poor people, and done plenty of things like this that are the root of why racism isn't going away in our

Man, there are so many things wrong with this line of reasoning. He spoke "his truth" for 24 years, so excuse all the questionable things he's said during that time? He gave Obama a million dollars for publicity, so he gets a pass for offhandedly calling himself, a white multi-millionaire, a house slave?

True story: a good friend of mine killed a snake in Mormon Eden.

I love the classics, but… c'mon man. Mastodon. Crystal Skull. 2:37. Best solo ever. EVER!

At a concert in Glasgow once, Bono stopped a song and started clapping. "Every time I clap, a child dies of hunger in Africa." He clapped for like 10 seconds before someone yelled out "Well then stop fucking clapping, you git."

That is one way of interpreting "Fuck tha Police"…

Actually, it;s not fascism. Fascism is very specifically tied to a reverence to your heritage being better than everyone else. The term itself derives from fasces, an ancient Roman standard of power. Tea partiers, and freshmen Poli-Sci majors, misuse this all the time, even amusingly interchanging it with socialism

I don't dislike the Beatles, per se, but I don't go out of my way to listen to them. A lot of it is the hype of "oh my god, the motherfucking Beatles!", while a band like the Kiinks, who were amazing and arguably  just as influential get pushed to the side.

"If you can feel what i feel, it's a musical masterpiece,
hear what i hear, well that's cool at least."

The only difference is who the hate is directed toward. Maher's very comfortable ripping Republicans and calling them idiots and whatnot. If you think he's just enlightened or whatever just watch "Religulous" (sp?) and you'll see what an ass Maher is.

I think the reason people latch on to that whole "gathering of wives" or multiple wives concept is ,historically speaking, the early church of Mormon's biggest problems was the espousing of polygamy, which directly led them to the desert. Combine that with the fact that the Mormon church was the #1 donator against gay

No, it's not. If you've read the news about Berlusconi you would've at some point heard about the underage prostitute thing (Bunga Bunga baby!) She was 17.

You're probably thinking of Sorrento for the English speaking, as it is a Brits Abroad mainstay. Naples would have been entirely too dangerous for our precious Jersey kids. As for centrally located, Rome is just about as middle of Italy as you can get and contrary to the previous comment an incredibly safe city. They
