Yea that last thing is my one REALLY BIG complaint about the season. Especially when all the promotional material teased this epic team up between them.

Actually DDS2 is probably my favourite out of all these standalone Defenders seasons so far (with stiff competition from Luke Cage) but I can admit the writing wasn't always the best and people have a lot of valid complaints about it, even if most of that stuff didn't bother me as much.

It's funny I watched Black Dynamite right after watching this and the fight scenes work so much better there, partly for this exact reason. (Plus MJW is just a beast)

It does get a bit better, but if you still feel that strongly against it at this point you may as well stop, it's not gonna fundamentally change

The one thing I will say is that if nothing else, I trust the showrunners for the Defenders to handle Danny's fight scenes far better than Buck did
