I don't follow this argument. I can find no point in this review in which they actually offer any criticism of the internet videos in question.

If I know one thing about Daily Show viewers, it's that they don't consider Fox News a living, malignant societal joke, like a CAT scan of a tumor you can watch 24 hours a day.

@avclub-0f2aab038be93ff407d92af691001e73:disqus I think you're going the opposite way from me. If I honestly thought he were a guy who co-conspired in a murder, I couldn't find him "delightful" in personal interviews or anecdotes and it would leave a lingering stain on any performance I saw. In fairness, if my parents stories about Catholic School are true, nuns have beat a hell of a lot more women than Chris Brown. And most of them were around ten years old.

It never got much traction for him, but there is some small group of people who suspect his involvement, I believe (I am not among them, I'm a huge Walken fan and think he seems like an offbeat but delightful guy).

Part way through I started thinking of John Hodgman (yes, I know, my avatar, but I put that there three years ago and never changed it). He's like the nerdy patriarch I never had in a lot of ways, but for all his goofy demeanor and academic oddness, the hints of propriety and a kind, amiable nature are apparent in his

To be honest, I thought it was the gnagster version as opposed to the redneck version, but it struck me as a really similar sketch. When they got to end, they even had the same "grow old together" type payoff.

"the album had the classic bit “Filthy Words,” the follow-up to the
“Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television,” and in it, Carlin dove
in-depth into why some words didn’t make the original list, and why
others should have been included. The funniest one to me was always his explanation for the word “twat,” mainly
