This seemed pretty darned stupid to me ( though I did appreciate the homage to Romero's Dawn of the Dead); Strand & the kid; the group leaving everyone else in the community in danger by leaving gates open: the Nick - Strand story line; & why exactly was Strand there in detention when he could have hid out in his

Always enjoyed Lloyd's death scene in Saboteur. It was only after St. Elsewhere that I realized how many other films & shows I had seen him in .Great Random Roles.

No mention of Crimson Tide or Cattle Annie & Little Britches? i'm sure he would have had some good stories of working on those films. Otherwise it was a very entertaining Random Roles & made me aware of films I had seen long ago ( The Baby Maker) that i did not know he was in. Thaks.

Loved the Undying Monster as a kid back in the sixties & its dvd release of several years ago along with the other films in the Fox collection. Me & another DJ played the heck out of that cut & would each "appropriate" the album for personal use when not on the air. Somehow the album got cracked & each of

I have always thought she looked great in that bedroom scene in Long Gone when Dermott Mulroney's character is introduced.

Bill Gunn was also a novelist & playwright. He had a few on-screen credits as a writer in Hollywood and some  uncredited & unproduced screenplays. His last novel Rhinestone Sharecropping imaginatively details the life of a black  writer in Hollywood. He too unfortunately died young.

One or two summers after MASH had some success on CBS someone decided to make a series from  Catch-22. I saw some of that pilot when it was broadcast. It was so bad and so irrelevant to anything relating to the book or Mike Nichols movie adaptation that I can not remember who was in the cast. A totally forgettable
