I actually prefer watching Reaper to Buffy, if only because my recent memories of Buffy include that horrific sixth season. Reaper isn't as important or influential as Buffy was in the nineties, but its way more fun now.

Tim Kring, show yourself!
Does anyone else think this movie sounds suspiciously like an episode out of Season 3 of Heroes? Is it just me?
It actually reminds me of Chuck in a lot of ways (in tone, not just the superficial, they both are ordinary guys working in extraordinary jobs while undercover at Big Box stores), only on a smaller scale. But while Chuck gets all the (well deserved) attention, Reaper seems to get none of it. Which is ashame, cause its…
Reapers Dark Future
TV By the Numbers says this shows gone for good. And that's a damn shame, cause this has become one of the most watchable shows on TV. I wonder what the chances are for a deal with another network? Or is the fact that WB Studios produces the show (?) gonna hurt its chances for that, too?
I feel like I'm in the minority here, but Kristin Chenoweth never did anything for me. Maybe it's just because I've heard stories about how mean she is behind the scenes (perhaps why Aaron Sorkin got along so well with her, I've heard stories about him too), or maybe it's just that awful Christmas movie she did a few…
G4 isn't perfect, but…
Wow, the comments so far don't seem too thrilled. I love The Soup, as any self-respecting AV Clubber should, and I'm optimistic about Hardwick's chances at being funny. He seems charmingly snarky enough on Attack of the Show, even improvising a few zingers on the air, and his Nerdist blog sorta…

And because this is the AV Club
I must mention that Wood Harris was Avon Barksdale. It's the law.
Sissy Boy Slap Party
I love Guy Madden, and can't wait to rent Careful. My Winnipeg was great as was saddest music. But I must mention this amazing little short film.
I got into the show really heavily in the first two seasons, when it felt like something really fresh and new (to me anyway, since prior to its airing I didn't have a TV, and before that, when I did, I was still in the Nick, Seinfeld and Simpsons only phase). The episode, My Old Lady, hit me here. I'm pointing to my…
I said the same thing about Friday Night Lights
If Heroes returns and Chuck doesn't, I'm gonna boycott Subway Sandwiches and all GE Products.
Unfocused thoughts on the setting.
The sense of place in this film was amazing. I remember the feeling I got watching Planes, Trains and Automobiles when Steve Martin & John Candy were stuck in Wichita, and it wasn't pleasant. This, however, feels so much worse (and by worse I mean better). The feeling of just cold…
I actually prefer liveblogging for awful programming sometimes. Why waste a well thought out review on a not-at-all-thought-out show? Instead, we can just read snarky one-liners in real time. I can't wait.
And if you want that Brian De Palmaness of Black Dahlia with out the suckage, Femme Fatale is much much much better.
I think we have a bot. Exciting, avclub is moving on up the food chain, becoming more spam worthy.
Query Garcia Anderson: "What are you wearing?"
Still, Guy Madden, Coen Bros, Brick? This next month's gonna kick ass.
Speaking of the Oscars, I remember when Triplets was nominated for best animated feature. I was rooting really hard for it, even though I was absolutely in love with its competition, Finding Nemo. To me, a person can't rate one as better then the other, but I wanted a movie that represented something rarely seen in…
If only this had been Dave Matthews Band week. Or Hootie & the Blowfish week. Or John Mayor week. Or that one Denis Leary joke song week. Or I'll stop now.
Finally, The broseph is gone.
I can't look at Anoop without imagining a red cup full of Natural Ice in his hand. I quote the Sarah Silverman Program, "Something about you just takes me there."
And I'm thinkin Allison has a better chance now, having scared her fans with a bottom three.
