I can't wait to get this.
It has been far too long. I saw this was coming out and I was all, I want to go to there.

That part in the movie Willow never bothered me, but oddly enough, almost everything in the Willow NES game made me metaphorically poop my pants.

Childhood Scares
Maybe in twenty years, a new batch of AV Club writers will be bringing back an old feature called AV Q&A, and they answer the question, "What were some of your childhood pop culture scares?" One AV Clubber, perhaps the child of a reader or writer, maybe young Scottie T. Jr., or Severus Albus Rabin

Totally with you. I would have preferred another song from the soundtrack, maybe one that I haven't played to death, although I think any other one would have been risky for American Idol. Falling Slowly has the most pop-potential.

Falling Slowly
I'm a sucker for that song too, so its hard to be 'objective' (if that even exists) about it, but man, for a song that gets to me every time, it just didn't get to me. I applaud the choice, and it makes me like him more, but something about it was just a bit bland. So much can be done with that song,

PERFECT
I've had a copy of geek love in my bookshelf for about five or six years, and now I have an a real reason to read it. Thank you for starting this section. Seems as inevitable as the TV Club.

Battery Life
The bigger display probably leads to lower battery life. If that's the case, none of these features make me want to shell out the extra 30 bucks for the new edition (since my old one's gone).

Yeah, but I was like three or four when I saw Wonka (and the tunnel scene wasn't as bad as the death). I didn't start reading every single Daul book till I was seven or eight on. And yeah, I know they survive in the book, but as a kid, I didn't know or care. Those kids were dead!

The Never Ending Horse Deaaaaath! Na na na, na na na, na na na!
Man, I'm totally with you on Willy Wonka. I mean, I didn't run out the room screaming, but I remember getting pretty existentially terrified by the prospect of these kids dying one by one in a factory. Greedy Roald Daul kids or not, they were DEAD! I

That's the exact format they used to introduce the iPhone. "It's a phone, an iPod and an internet communication device" with those exact images, only different icons inside.

Losts of IT hate here
I gotta say, while the pilot is only funny and amazing, what with the boring character set up and all. episode 2 has more insanely quotable gags that all hit me then any other episode, including the wonderful second and third season.

Anyone hear this?
Kal Penn actually taught a class at U Penn. I'm not sure what it was, but I think it had something to do with media image. Perhaps I'm missing out on the deep, intellectual undertones of Epic Movie…

I'd read it if it were posted.

If this had happened, I'd be lizzing.
I thought for a second that a network has wised up and decided to finally produce "Gold Case"

I meant play. Not song.

This almost makes up for "Late for School"
Unless, of course, this song has a banjo interlude I don't know about.

I'm a little glowing friend!
Tasha, you're not alone. That's been my favorite song since I was… hell, since I started listening to music. For a little while, Good Vibrations took the top spot, then some Daft Punk stuff, but more consistently then any other song, my go-to time-of-all (or all time, if you're not into

I actually had a similar reaction to The Intruder the first time I saw it, so you're not alone. I was absolutely baffled, but thought about it a lot, and the bafflement I felt was part of it's draw. Every time I watch it, there's more to unwrap, the first viewing there simply to take it all in. It's said enough to

Sound
The sound design in this film was absolutely breathtaking. I mean, the diegetic sound pulsed in my ears, like the sound of the bodies or shoes hitting the floor. The nature and man contacting each other. I haven't seen this movie in a while, but that still echos, as does the above mentioned coda, which, and I'm

Happened to me.
Tons of people were walking out left and right. People brought they're young kids to the movies. I don't get how a parent doesn't do a bit of research on this kinda thing, but people really didn't know what they were getting into. Even those who went for another 300 violent action movie must have been
