Actually, unironically I don't have more of a problem with this movie than any other forgettable hollywood output. I saw the first one on cable and could see digging it more as a teenage girl, but as a young guy, I thought it was a pretty good movie. Not that it needed a sequel, but neither did Rush Hour 2.

How dare you
compare a muppet to Janelle! Janice has provided me with tons of entertainment, as well as the classic line "I'll trade with anyone who has a Jacuzzi!" in the amazing Muppets Take Manhattan. What has Janelle ever done?

SKIN CANCER! YAY!

This is gonna kick Pineapple Express' FUCKING ASS DUDE!
WHAT!?

Man, I can't wait to see this
if only to get Paper Planes out of my head. Best trailer ever.

It's not just me then.
Nancy's bad behavior as been a problem for me too. She spent the first 3 seasons claiming that she was a devoted mother above all, but I guess U-Turn succeeded in corrupting her. She really does come off as trashy too, what with the backless bottomless clothing she's sportin' (although hows

Watch Out Doc
They'll put you on the docks.

wow, some dude. you're a quick one!

MONTCLAIR!!!!!
WOOHOO!!!! WE'RE ON THE TV!!!!

Is this film camp?
I'm curious if this film qualifies as camp any more than something like, say, Starship Troopers does. I'd suggest that Verhoeven is more than in on the joke, and that's perhaps what keeps it from that camp classification. Camp cannot know its camp, can it?

Matthew McConaughey and Silas should have lunch.
Nancy really needs to spend more time with her kids.

my bad, yeah.

James Kachalka Superstar!
This is a great list, but its especially nice to see American Elf on the list.

Pete thoughts
Pete's a character that I think we've been sort of programmed to hate, with his prep-school dickwaddery and the fact that he's Don's foil, but am I the only one with a little sympathy for the guy? Not as much as for almost all of the other characters, but that sheep-in-wolf's-clothing really works. His

Evan Wright
I love the way this show has resisted turning Wright into a major character. He's a good journalist, like Mike Fletcher's Bubble interview in The Wire. I don't expect any heartfelt monologues about the direness of the Iraqi situation, but rather more of the same. Lots of listening, and letting the story

Wow, great interview.
I usually can't stand the actors interviews, cause they're so guarded and humorless and on junkets doing a hundred interviews on a soulless project they couldn't care less about, but this was a fabulous interview.

and Two Lane Blacktop's plot made more sense.
Am I the only one who saw the ending coming an hour before the show started? I don't mind a twist ending that's predictable if it's well executed, but this had too many problems. First of all, it was so obvious she was a zombie, and second, as was addressed in the review,

One Sentence Review: "More Like Generation THRILL!"
I loved the More With Less theme that totally continued from The Wire.

Great List…
If only to see Two-Lane Blacktop with Pee Wee's Big Adventure-two of my all time favorite road movies.
