Yeah, that's the one.

My Camp Story
So I never went to camp until last summer when I really needed a job. I got a job at a PA camp called Camp Honesdale (a mostly Jewish camp, so I assumed I'd fit in). Terrified of working with kids and the whole idea of spending two-and-a-half months at some camp in Honesdale, PA, I decided to rent Wet

Nomi Song, while completely looking to the past, actually had an immediacy to it thats common in this list. It feels like a lot of this stuff is just getting discovered. Plus, its a kick ass documentary.

The American version still would have had Richard Ayoade, so it could have been successful, and maybe given audiences more than six or nine episodes in a season. I no quality is more important than quantity, but the US The Office is a good example of how an adaptation can take the themes of the original and expand on

Of course, Swardson is the funniest thing about almost every movie he's in. He's the reason to watch Grandma's Boy and Reno 911: Miami. Plus, if you can't enjoy Gay Robot, well I just feel sorry for you.

BUFFY!
WOOHOO! I just finished the fist two seasons on Hulu, and I'm watching Season 3 Disc 3 right now thanks to my summer netflix account. Maybe in the future-Firefly and Angel.

THE WOZ!?
Is Steve Woz featured in the new Griffin show? Please say yes!

That last scene
reminds me of a scene from a film that'd totally be on my non-existent I Watched This On Purpose entry: Man of the Year. When Laura Linney's care betrays her. That movies technophobia was consistently more hilarious than the Robin Williams schtick sprinkled throughout Barry Levinson's ninety minute

It also seems to have more of an editorial voice than a show like Best Week Ever (which I also enjoy). While BWE is several comedians with different styles just riffing, The Soup is much more consistent in both the laughs and the style. And, as you say, it seems to have a conscience.

I wonder,
what happened to the American adaptation of The IT Crowd that McHale was supposed to star in?

I love Jack Pallance and Fritz Lang in that film-one all that is evil in films and one representing all that's good.

I don't know. I usually don't feel passionate about huge blockbusters. I mean, I loved Iron Man as much as everyone else, but I'm not gonna go around championing that film among my friends like I did a movie like Once.

Is this anything
like the doc about Troy Duffy - Overnight?

In honor of Bo Diddley
I'll be watching one of my favorite films: Rockula.

I'm watching this again right this second,
and its fucking awesome. this review totally got it. incidentally, I'm waiting for scott tobias' thesis on brooks to be published.

Omnibus Question
What's the difference between the Iron Man Omnibus and the Essential Iron Man? Is the omnibus in color, or still B&W?

I like Audition mainly because of the major shift and tone that caught me off guard watching the movie.

Just realized, Cannibal Holocaust ain't exactly new, having been made in the 70s. Oops.

More Cult Horror?
I love Battle Royale, and years ago it was the first film that got me into the cult horror genre. Will there be more horror films coming up? Audition perhaps? Or Cannibal Holocaust? In fact, considering that Cannibal Holocaust is probably past Cult Canon film Blair Witches biggest influence, it would

I completely agree, and that's what eight years of pandering to the neo-con base will do to a person.
