What, no Ivan Drago?
What, no Ivan Drago?
Bob Johnson.
I'm so glad someone ELSE caught that reference. The Portland cellist that is.
…or Phil wakes up from his nightmare, cut to next episode's opening scene: the light comes on from the bathroom, May comes out dressed in one of his shirts and says "bad dreams?"
These are the only moments I find that add real levity to Phil and for that matter the show.
Actually, MAoS would be a perfect opportunity to kick off his internet show—backdoor pilot and give some oomph to this one. SHIELD interacts so much though with the superhero cadre that trying to keep it human just shouldn't be possible. They've stated time and again it's a whole new world they live in—and instead all…
So how did the greasy Rammstein fans know where it was? They seem like they had the collected intelligence of Beliebers, yet knew EXACTLY where to turn up in a small Irish church?
The whole POV from the well confused me the most—90% of the shots were from down at the bottom, water swirling over the lens, up a deep, dark hole, conveying this sense of helplessness—and then it turns out Ward's at the TOP of the well looking down at what I assume to be his younger brother while his sadistic older…
…and crying that he'd all but abandoned his native language when talking to a fellow countryman.
Clearly as we all know The Great Muppet Caper was the best of the series. It's not hard to see why they returned to the genre for their latest.
You bastard!
I admit the suit seemed out of place, but looking back at all his other adventures, he's never dressed in anything but suits.
For an extraction, admittedly it's silly—but once he got inside talking to Hall it seemed far more appropriate than if he were in a combat suit.
To be fair, I at first thought the same thing—"Coulson, you had like… one day with them." But I think he was speaking more in terms of the combined time in their separate adventures, primarily with Stark, Thor, Hawkeye (and nothing with Cap, since all he did was watch him thaw out)—he probably spent the most time with…
I too wondered that. *prints S.H.I.E.L.D.logo in strips, tapes over Arrowhead bottles*
Actually, I thought the point of the dress was to get to that revealing fanservice panty shot Bennett has jumping into the pool they kept featuring in the teaser trailers for both the show and the episode itself—
and yet they cut it just before it happened in the actual episode.
Absolutely criminal not to have mentioned Canad—er, New York's finest law firm show.
