Mistake about Tanenhaus
I think Vadim assumes Sam Tanenhaus is a liberal because he works at the New York Times, but he is, in fact, a Republican. He's written for a number of conservative publications and has written a biography of Whittaker Chambers (and I believe his is currently writing one about Buckley).
